María Pérez Aguilar, is an attorney with more than 20 years of experience. Member of Madrid Bar Association and member of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF).
She holds a degree in Law and a degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE) from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE – E3).
She has worked in Madrid for the main Spanish law firms: Garrigues (2002-2008), EY Ernst & Young (2009-2013) y Deloitte (2013-2018), since she decided to set up its own law firm that reflects her personal ideals and combines a service of the highest quality with a service more personalized and comprehensive.
She has been selected by her peers for inclusion since 2018 to 2023 Editions of The Best Lawyers in Spain for her work in Tax Law.
Specialized in corporate and international tax; her main clients are companies of the services, real estate, energy, industry and hospitality sectors. She has advised many Spanish and foreign companies in national and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, companies restructurings and tax structuring. Additionally, she provides ongoing advise in tax optimization opportunities and advises in Tax controversy including tax audits, negotiation of settlements, appeals and litigation.

Degree in Law, University CEU San Pablo (Complutense). Master’s Degree in Business Insolvency, University CEU San Pablo. Diploma in financial analysis, management and financial accounting of companies, Escuela Superior de Investigaciones y Técnicas Empresariales.
Member of the Bar Associations of Madrid, Malaga and Salamanca. He is a lecturer on various courses and a speaker at conferences organised by Professional and Bar Associations and the University. As a professional member of the Bar Association since 1993, he has participated in numerous important bankruptcy proceedings at a national level, as a lawyer, advisor and bankruptcy administrator. He has advised Spanish and foreign insurance companies and is also Secretary of the Board of Directors and legal adviser to many capital companies.

JOSE ANTONIO GARCÍA-CRUCES
Professor of Commercial Law
DESCRIPTION
Professor of Commercial Law at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). Previously Professor and Lecturer at the Universities of Zaragoza and Salamanca, where he obtained his PhD in 1987, and has been a guest lecturer at other Spanish and Latin American universities.. He is a recognized specialist in Corporate Law as well as in Bankruptcy Law and Corporate Restructuring. Member of the Madrid Bar Association.
He is a member of the General Codification Commission. He has also provided international consultancy services (UAID, IDB). He was president of the Court of Competition Defense of Aragon (2006-2010). He is a Member of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation and is the author of ten monographs as well as the director of various collective works. He has also published nearly one hundred articles in the main magazines of Commercial and Economic Law.
He is also a member of the prestigious Scientific Committee of the Tirant lo Blanch publishing house.
